Fourth Grade Art



Fourth Grade Botanical Drawings

When Mrs. Williams visited with our Fourth graders, they studied botanical drawings. Students closely observed a variety of flowers and leaves. They carefully drew the plants onto paper and added color with colored pencil and Sharpie marker.  Once completed, the images were scanned and printed onto fabric. The artwork will be incorporated into the collaborative quilts Mrs. Williams is creating.

Not only is it interesting to view the flower drawings as a whole but it is fun to see the different perspectives the students have when looking at the same flower image.
